Connect Quest Approved!

Sequel to my applications for the permission to carry out this project, I am glad to announce that the project has been granted full approval with support from the Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board (ADSUBEB) on Friday, October 2, 2009. Similarly, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) of Adamawa State, under whose auspices I am undergoing my one year mandatory National Service, also granted full approval to the project.

I must appreciate the Educational Management Information Sysytems Unit of the ADSUBEB for their recommendations which eased the approval process. Many thanks are also due to the Director of the Department of Planning, Research and Statistics for his recommendations, help and concern. I must also show gratitude to the Yola North Local Government Inspector and other officials of the NYSC for their assistance.

Now the challenge begins. The next update will feed you on the modus operandi and behavioural objectives of the competition. The competition Guidelines had already been set while posters and letters of invitation will be sent to all eligible schools before the end of this week. Watch out!
